I am 36 years old. Happily married in 2000 to a wonderful man who I met on the internet. :o) I have a step-daughter who is soon to be married. I moved from Indiana to Georgia in 2000, talk about your culture shock! I'm by no means perfect, but I am striving to be the woman God would have me to be. Proverbs 31 is my goal, but I am still a work in progress.

    Watch Who You Mess With.....

Friday I was searching for an address to deliver a newspaper. I had searched on Mapquest but forgot my map. I had an idea so I decided to go ahead and look for the house. I found the road after a little searching and by the house numbers I knew I was on the right track. Then I saw a couple of boys about 14 years old messing around in the middle of the street. I thought, please don't let them be right in front of the house I'm looking for. I noticed as I got closer to them that they were throwing something at each other. I thought, "Oh great, they are probably going to throw something at my car." As I passed them, sure enough something hit my car and rolled down the windshield. I slowed down because I knew I was getting close to the house. I was looking at them in my mirror and looking for the house at the same time. I found the house. I had passed the driveway just a bit, so I started to back up. I noticed in my mirror that one boy took off running. He thought I was coming after them! I kinda chuckled to myself. The thing that kinda spooked me was the other boy. He didn't run. Brave little cuss. He stood and watched me as he walked in the opposite direction. When I pulled into the driveway, he started to walk a bit faster, all the while watching me with an "I dare you" sorta look. By the time I got my car stopped, he was gone. I was a little apprehensive about getting out of the car, people are crazy. I delivered the paper with no problem and as I headed to the grocery store did not see them again. By the way, the object that they threw at my car was a piece of corn cob. It didn't hurt the car. I found it down by my windshield wipers. I hope next time they think about what they are doing before they throw something at a car. Next time the person driving the car might not be someone like me, they may shoot or beat the crud out of them without asking questions. you never know these days.

LOL! I bet you scared the soup out of them. :) And where were the parents of these brats? If one of my kids ever did something like that I'd beat them with that corncob! ;) Hee hee!
