Let's Talk over Coffee....

Name:
Location: Northwest Georgia, United States

I am 36 years old. Happily married in 2000 to a wonderful man who I met on the internet. :o) I have a step-daughter who is soon to be married. I moved from Indiana to Georgia in 2000, talk about your culture shock! I'm by no means perfect, but I am striving to be the woman God would have me to be. Proverbs 31 is my goal, but I am still a work in progress.

    Look What I Found

We were in Calhoun and saw an antique store that was going out of business. Hubby was sweet enough to stop and let me look. I found this beautiful little oil lamp. When I say little, I mean little. It's not much bigger than a spool of thread (see the pic below). I got another little one that's about twice this size and not quite as fancy, both for $3 each. I also got Jenna a little frilly half apron that I'm going to embroider on for Christmas that was only $.80! To round it off I got 2 solid oak picture frames in perfect condition and a colbalt blue jar. I have such a sweet and patient hubby, he sat in the car and listened to his MP3 player while I shopped.

The reason we went to Calhoun was to meet someone that was interested in buying my knitting machine. I finally decided I wasn't going to use it so I need to let someone who will use it get some good out of it. The lady I sold it to was sweet as can be, I hope she is able to make many beautiful things with it. Posted by Picasa

This is Jake's apron that I stitched on for him. Nothing fancy, but I think he'll like it. I had to get it in the mail today so he will have it when he get's to grandma's this weekend. :o) He's such the little chef.

This is a picture of my co-workers who were treating the kids outside of the office.......or are those some of the kids that were Trick or Treating? I'll let you decide. :oP
