Location: Northwest Georgia, United States

I am 36 years old. Happily married in 2000 to a wonderful man who I met on the internet. :o) I have a step-daughter who is soon to be married. I moved from Indiana to Georgia in 2000, talk about your culture shock! I'm by no means perfect, but I am striving to be the woman God would have me to be. Proverbs 31 is my goal, but I am still a work in progress.

My Hubby is Such a DOLL!

TMI WARNING!!!! The first Paragraph may contain too much info for some.

Kidding, I'll try not to give too much detail. Last week I was feeling REALLY awful, by Friday night I was really miserable. Saturday morning my dear hubby woke up before me and started researching colon cleansing on the net. When I woke up we discussed it and decided that it would probably help my problem. He then called the Nutrition Shop (if you're in the area, these people are WONDERFUL and have a great little place! They are located at 112 Herron St., Fort Oglethorpe, GA 30742 (706) 866-8698 ) to see if they carried any colon cleaners (normally he would have handed me the phone to call). She said they carried several, so off to Ft. Oglethorpe he went. My hubby is very shy, so this totally shocked me. He came back with a bottle of Colon Clenz for $20 ( a good price if you have checked around). It worked! I will spare the details, but I will tell you that my skin is clearer than it has been in a long time. There are all kinds of benefits that you wouldn't think of as a result of doing a colon cleanse. It's worth checking into.

Only those that know my hubby will come close to appreciating how much it meant that he did that for me. He's a doll.

Night before last night we were talking, which ended up turning into an argument, about graduation announcements, cap & gown, class rings & such. Heather brought home a form to order this stuff, but not quite enough information. We are having a real problem that sort of thing. She doesn't know if we could pay by check (we didn't want to use credit card), if the whole order had to be turned in, and didn't want to call any friends to find out if they knew. I can understand not knowing, it's the not wanting to find out that irritates me. What irritates me is she then thinks we are to blame when she misses out. GRRRRR!!! She really is a good kid, I shouldn't complain. Compared to a lot of teens, she is an angel. I just get really frustrated sometimes. **Update** It has taken me too long to post this, we have found out that we have a couple of weeks so all is well.

I have decided that I am WAY too negative lately. In an attempt to counteract it, I'm going to write daily how God is blessing me. My goal is to try to find a blessing in the things that I normally wouldn't think of as blessings. It may sound kinda goofy to some, but I think it will help me to put a positive spin on things in my life. I want to be content where I am. I know God has me right where I am, and I don't just mean in Georgia, for a purpose. Instead of wishing I were in a different stage of my life I need to recognize the blessings that God is giving me here and now. I might post them here and I might start a separate blog for that, haven't decided yet. For now I am going to write it in a little notebook. Maybe you could join me.

Gotta go finish my grocery shopping.

    Have a WONDERFUL Weekend.
