I am 36 years old. Happily married in 2000 to a wonderful man who I met on the internet. :o) I have a step-daughter who is soon to be married. I moved from Indiana to Georgia in 2000, talk about your culture shock! I'm by no means perfect, but I am striving to be the woman God would have me to be. Proverbs 31 is my goal, but I am still a work in progress.

    CHRISTMAS!!

    .......................................
I love Christmas! I am so ready, I am trying to talk my husband into putting our tree up tomorrow. :o) If he chooses not to am going to do it this weekend.

I plan to do some cooking for gifts this year. I am so excited to try out some new recipes I have found on the web. Tomorrow I am going to try to make Banana Butter. I think it sounds yummy!

The sad thing is that I found out that we will not be able to go to Indiana for Christmas this year. My husband's ding dong ex-wife decided that she would make the reservation on Christmas day for her daughter to come see her! She made the reservation without bothering to ask what anyone else what they had planned for the holiday. So we will be driving to and from the airport most of the day on Christmas day! Not only that, Heather will be on the airplane or at the airport for most of Christmas day too. I guess we will just have to make the most of it and not let her self absorption ruin our day.

    Homesick

Well, we had a pretty good visit with my family in Indiana this past weekend. On the way to my mom's house I got really emotional as we got close enough to Kokomo that Z92.5 came in on our radio. The DJ's voice was a strange one to me. It is so weird. I worked there before I moved and knew all of the DJ's (except maybe a few of the part time weekenders) I miss it so much. There have been so many changes, but my goodness it has been almost 5 years! I was such a different person then. I feel out of my element. People in Georgia are so different from Hoosiers. I miss the confort zone I had there. BUT, I would marry him again if I had the chance to do it all over. Knowing how much I would miss what I have left behind, I would still leave it all to be with him. I guess I just wish I could have my cake & eat it too. Isn't that what everyone wants?
