Let's Talk over Coffee....

Name:
Location: Northwest Georgia, United States

I am 36 years old. Happily married in 2000 to a wonderful man who I met on the internet. :o) I have a step-daughter who is soon to be married. I moved from Indiana to Georgia in 2000, talk about your culture shock! I'm by no means perfect, but I am striving to be the woman God would have me to be. Proverbs 31 is my goal, but I am still a work in progress.

I have kinda been on an emotional rollercoaster lately. Not really sure why. Well, I guess the holidays are like that for me lately. It is so hard having to share a child. I'm sure it's hard for Heather too, going back & forth. He mom is flying in on Christmas day and of course Heather is very excited. It makes me kinda sad. We were planning on going to Indiana some time during the time that she has off school and Byron has off work (they both have several weeks off). The way we had planned it she should have been able to go, but now she can't because her mom will be here until she goes back to school. :o( I just really wish her mom would be a little more considerate with her planning. I'm happy for Heather that she gets to see her mom, but I wish she could have asked us about our plans so that we could have worked it out where Heather could have gone up with us AND spent time with her mom. Of course I don't blame Heather for not going with us, I wouldn't want to either if my mom was coming here to see me. It's just so frustrating. We get to handle the tough everyday stuff (and of course the blessing that come along with that too) and then her mom just pops in at her own convenience, regardless of anyone else's plans or feelings. Well, I am trying to make the best of it anyway.

I'm not sure if I'll get to post again before Christmas so..........

    Merry CHRISTmas!
