Heather's MRI
The doctor called and said that from the results of the MRI they do not think it is Ankylosing Sponylitis, they now think it is Degenerative Joint Disease. We have an appointment to take her to a specialist next week. I called Dr. Ford and he said that he suggested we take her to our family doctor because he didn't think it was only Degenerative Joint Disease. He said the reason he thought it was something else is that it usually occurs in older adults, she is only 15.Right now, she is aggravated at us because we are making her wait to start track until we find out what we are dealing with. I think she will be able to participate in track, but we are not sure. She started track last year and quit. I think the only reason she wants to do it this year is because she wants to be with her friends. Even still, I hope she is able to do it if she wants to.
