I am 36 years old. Happily married in 2000 to a wonderful man who I met on the internet. :o) I have a step-daughter who is soon to be married. I moved from Indiana to Georgia in 2000, talk about your culture shock! I'm by no means perfect, but I am striving to be the woman God would have me to be. Proverbs 31 is my goal, but I am still a work in progress.

    Merry CHRISTmas Eve

I probably will not post tomorrow, so MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Today we had quite a scare. My MIL's neighbor (which is also her sister-in-law) called and said they had rushed my MIL to the emergency room with heart problems. She had valve replacement done on her heart a few years ago, so anything with her heart is scary. When we finally got to the emergency room she was sitting up in bed and said she felt fine. She explained that she was at work and felt pressure in her chest. The pressure got worse so she went to customer service (she works at Walmart) to tell someone just in case something happened. Then she started having trouble breathing. One of the ladies there as a customer was a nurse of her cardiologist, she asked if they had a defibrillator and got MIL laid on the ground. They didn't have one but the ambulance got there soon after. She said by this time she was gasping for air. They got her on the ambulance and she told them she felt like she was going to throw up and was sweating like crazy. They gave her something to throw up in, she leaned over it and............................ she belched 2 or 3 times and felt great! They borught her to the ER and ran tests, nothing. She had drank a Volt on her break, they think that's what did it. They told her they had several people come in today because of something they drank of pills they had taken. I am SO thankful everthing is ok.

I also talked to my mom and found out my step-father is in the hospital too. He kept telling her his heart was bothering him. He went to his family doctor and they ran some tests which showed he had an abnormal valve. They ran further tests that showed his heart is inflammed. They think it may be from the staph infection he had a year ago! The infection has damaged 2 of his valves, but they are not sure yet what they need to do. They are working on getting rid of the infection first. He told my mom, "I'm living it up. I have a bed, I can sleep anytime I want. I have a TV and someone to cook for me." He's not in any pain, and says he feels fine. So for this we will just have to pray and wait. He is not saved so prayer for his salvation would be appreciated too.

Good night. I hope y'all have a most blessed CHRISTmas with your family.
