Let's Talk over Coffee....

My Photo
Name:
Location: Northwest Georgia, United States

I am 36 years old. Happily married in 2000 to a wonderful man who I met on the internet. :o) I have a step-daughter who is soon to be married. I moved from Indiana to Georgia in 2000, talk about your culture shock! I'm by no means perfect, but I am striving to be the woman God would have me to be. Proverbs 31 is my goal, but I am still a work in progress.

Above is a picture I found recently of us at Cloudland Canyon. I think this was 5 years ago, I cannot believe how little Heather was! She is now 17 and a Senior! Oh how time flies. It's not the best picture, but I like it. August 19th Byron & I celebrated our 6th Wedding Anniversary! Hard to believe it's been 6 years.

I've not posted much, for those few that read my blog I apologize. I know you probably look so forward to my boring ramblings. I've just been a bit weird lately. Just a little emotional and such. I think I know what part of it is, I've not been a very good help meet lately. When I do things around the house I feel good. I love to cook. I don't like to clean, but feel good about it when I do. I love making mixes and making things from scratch, just because I can. Some think I'm "Suzy Homemaker", well I'm far from it. The only reason I can make anything from scratch is because I have a recipe, not because I'm so great in the kitchen. I just enjoy doing it, some don't. Trust me, we eat our share of premade meals (ravioli, spaghetti-o's, Zaterans, etc.) I just like the satisfaction of knowing I made a good meal and did it frugally. I'm not special, this is just important to me. There are probably areas that I let slack that others would see as important. I would hope they wouldn't look down on me for that, we all have our priorities. I don't look down on someone that has different priorities than me, I may not understand, but they wouldn't understand me either. Anywho, I am starting a household binder. I have read blogs of others that have done them and been ABSOLUTELY intimidated. Well, I think I need one and plan to start small so as not to be overwhelmed. I'll post more on that later, gotta go for now.

    God Bless!
