This is me with my Aunt Wanda who stopped to visit us yesterday. I'm glad she stopped on her way through, but the visit was way too short. She is such a fascinating lady, someone that you could just listed to all day because she is so full of information. We are going to try to make plans to go visit her in Cincinnati for the weekend sometime soon.

My First Edible Loaf of Bread!!!
I made my first loaf of bread yesterday, well my first edible loaf. :o)
I know this may sound goofy, but I was so excited that I almost cried. I hurried to call my mom and tell her, she of course was excited for me. That's one great thing about my mom, she gets excited over goofy stuff with me. She said that my grandma would have been so proud of me because she never could bake bread. My grandma was a great cook though, bread was probably the only thing she couldn't make.
We got a new couch & chair yesterday! We had a loveseat and a futon (that don't match)for furniture. The futon was my bed before I moved down here and the loveseat was given to us by my Aunt & Uncle. My mother-in-law's neighbor got new furniture and was selling her old set. My mil called to see if we wanted it, she said she would pay for it if we did. What a blessing! Both pieces of our furniture are in rough shape and we were wanting to replace them, but just really didn't have the money for that kind of investment right now. If I had gone into a furniture store I am not sure that this what I would have picked out, but they are really a beautiful set and like new.
Well, I am also very excited because we are meeting my Aunt Wanda for lunch today. Actually she is my great, great aunt on my dad's side. Mom said that my dad was very close to her, he even lived with her for awhile when he was younger. She lives in Cincinnati, Ohio and was down this way so she is meeting us for lunch. The last time I saw her was my wedding shower, she was not able to come to our wedding because she was in Chattanooga, TN at the time. It was pretty ironic, the wedding was in Indiana not too far from her and she was 500 miles away in Chattanooga, not too far from where we live. This will be dh & dd first time to meet her. She really is an amazing woman, constantly on the go. I am so excited to see her.
Wow, that was a very longwinded post. :o) I will post some pictures tomorrow.
