I am 36 years old. Happily married in 2000 to a wonderful man who I met on the internet. :o) I have a step-daughter who is soon to be married. I moved from Indiana to Georgia in 2000, talk about your culture shock! I'm by no means perfect, but I am striving to be the woman God would have me to be. Proverbs 31 is my goal, but I am still a work in progress.

    Busy Week!

Man this week has been so busy I haven't had much time on the computer at all.

Last weekend we were blessed with the opportunity to go to Indiana. I was able to take Friday as a vacation day (only after a little razzing by me co-workers for taking Tuesday and Friday) so we could leave earlier. We planned to leave around 8am but hubby was up until 2am with a cramp in his leg so we didn't leave until 11:30am. Heather and I had a great time on the way up. Hubby was in the back seat taking it easy and enjoying his birthday present (mp3 player). Heather and I were playing with the radio, laughing at songs and just generally cutting up. :o) We stopped in Indianapolis to pick up Jenna (my brothers little one) who is now 5. She was cracking us up! I got to see her little cousin for the first time, I think he's 1. She said, "You know what he does? He climbs in the window and stands up there." She told me a few other things he does that she doesn't seem to think he should. I said, "Yep, toddlers will do that." She responded, "Trust me, you don't want one." We all about died laughing!! She's just so matter of fact and tries to sound so grown up, it's really cute.

We arrived at my mom's at about 8pm, when we leave after I get off work it is usually 2am. It was so nice to be able to visit before we needed to go to bed.

Saturday mom had to go to work at the Beauty shop. Heather and I were supposed to meet her over there so she could cut our hair but didn't make it. Jake (Jenna's big brother) and Jenna cooked breakfast for us. I helped Jenna make toast and Jake made eggs, bacon and blueberry pancakes. At 9, he's quite the little chef. He's so cute too, he has to have on his apron and chef's hat if he cooks. Grandma also got Jenna an apron, but it didn't have pockets like brother's. I stiched a pocket and the letter "J" on it for her. Jake sent his apron home with me so that I can stich "Chef Jacob" on it. I have to get it in the mail so that he will have it next time he is at grandma's house.

My brother's Birthday was on Sunday the 22nd. He got apple dumplings and apple crisp instead of cake. I can't believe he's 29!

We had a nice visit, as always though it was way too short. I'm so thankful for a hubby that is so good about making sure I get to see my family as much as possible. He's so good to me. :o)

This week at work has been so busy, every day seemed like Monday (my busiest day). The week sure went fast though. I will be so glad when election day is past. We have been dealing with a lot of political stuff. This person saying this about that person who supposedly said or did this to so-in-so.......yadda, yadda, yadda. And the political ads........good grief! The sad part is, that most people don't really even know what the candidates stand for or against. They are so busy trying to make themselves look good and their opponents look bad that they forget the whole point. Sad.

Well, I gotta go to bed. Don't forget to set your clocks back if you're in an area that changes.
