Nice Peaceful Weekend
How cute is this rug? My mom sent this back with us last time we were in Indiana. For those that don't know, my kitchen in done in a coffee theme. How Fun!!
This weekend was wonderful! The weather is getting gorgeous. Have I mentioned that I love Fall? I love the cool (not cold) temperatures, the crisp mornings..........*sigh* I just want to go sit on the porch with a nice hot cup of coffee.
I finally was able to make my dh a Chocolate Pumpkin Pie (well, without the crust). His Aunt Tressie used to make him Chocolate Pumpkin Pie at Thanksgiving and he has been wanting one but nobody has the recipe. Aunt Tressie had alzheimers when he & I met and has since passed on so the recipe went with her. I have tried to "Google it" but the recipes all have chocolate on them or under them. Well, I posted on a message board asking if anyone had a recipe and I GOT ONE!!! I made it for him and he said it tasted just like what Aunt Tressie made. I can't tell you how excited I am!
