Guess What I Learned..........
I learned that a Tea Cake is a Sugar Cookie. At least by my hubby's definition. Tea Cakes are another thing that his Aunt Tressie made that I have been trying to reproduce for him. I tried Paula Dean's Southern Tea Cakes and he said it was just like what she used to make. I told him it tasted like a sugar cookie and he said that's what they tasted like, crunchy sugar cookies. I thought it was more like a shortbread cookie or something. The recipe makes GREAT cookies, you should really try it. :o)
My wonderful Friend Rachel took a family picture for us last week. I was so excited, Heather's graduating this year so it was REALLY important to me that we had a family pic done. The one on the left is the one we chose out of the ones she took. The one on the right is Rachel trying to catch me being goofy but caught Byron looking at the ceiling. I love the cute look on his face and Heather trying not to laugh in front of the camera. :o)
